Meet Monster

Hi, meet Monster.

Monster is a bitch - a female pet dog.

We were greeted on arrival when mother started to play with her, and later fell in love with her.


She used to stay at mother's side when watching TV, and used to invite mother to play.





I used to pack her in her sarong after meng Loon bathed her.

We bought some durian from the super market.

And of course Monster was not left out. She seemed to enjoy durian.

Her favourite bag was the blue one on the chair, she knew when we wanted to bring her out, we would hide her inside that bag, ( The condo do not allow us to keep dog ) and if she wanted to go out , she would jump for the bag.


Once inside, she refused to come out.

Uncle Lim was also a dog lover.

We then brought her for a mountain climbing on a Sunday.

KL Visit

We flied Air Asia on 03 March 2009 to KL to start a 2 weeks vacation with Meng Loon.

Our scheduled stay was from 03 to 18 March 2009 with a week end visit to Melaka.



We touched down safely on time and took a SkyBus ( @ RM 9 ) to Sentrol KL where Meng Loon picked us and went to OakLeaf Park Condominium, ( C 12-3 ), Bukit Antara Bangsa, Jalan Ampang KL.




On the way we passed the land slide site.

The land slide occurred in Dec 2008 where houses were buried and claimed some lifes. ( 4 if not mistaken )




We also passed a road site fruit seller that I later learnt the seller was a Teo Chew from Penang, this was a pleasant surprise as I never expect to meet a Ka Ki Nan at this place.

Of course we bought some fruit from him, but no discount given. (Ka Ki Nan also no money no talk )



From Meng Loon's Condo window, I could see the site better, it is about 3/4 Km away and I took a few shots from the window.



Mother took over the kitchen which was not intensively used after Cindy left, and prepared some home cooks. ( we were greeted by Monster on arrival - let me introduce her later )


And Mother's favourite disk was Shark Fin.



During our stay, we tasted other foods too.

We went to Mid Valley and tried the Japanese food.



I managed to contact Lim Tiang Hiong and we had a break fast at Wangsa Maju with the Tim Sum.




We also visited 1 Utama and had lunch at the Vietnam restaurant.



Vietnam fried rice.


Vietnam mixed vege.


On the 09 March 2009, We went to a Korean restaurant to celebrate Mother's birth Day.


It was a BBQ style dinner.


Meng Loon was busy taking photos on the food before we started.


Soon , the food were consumed.

Captain Simon Tze

Captain Simon Tze has been flying, the last time I saw him was some 19 years ago.

He suddenly "pop" up and contacted Yong Syn Teck.

Within a matter of few hours, Syn Teck and Patricia managed to gather some of us to have a dinner at the Sarawak Club.

It was a surprise and happy gathering.



Food a plenty, but we enjoyed more making up lost time than eating.



We had a group photo before saying goodbye...and good night.

Till we meet again, keep in touch.
