We were visiting each others as usual and still found so many were left out.
Time was not sufficient to visit every one.
And as senior citizens ,we don't have that energy level any more. Chon Jin proposed a reunion dinner, gathering, or CNY get together.
This was agreed and accepted, we communicated over e mail and Mei Lee agreed to hold the gathering at her house as we found difficulty in booking any restaurant during the CNY.
We had a list, and started to contact the old classmates, mostly from the 1969 classes.

We managed to get PenView to cater buffet dinner at a higher cost as we wanted them to provide practically every thing, we just come and enjoy.
The night was 29 Jan 2009, Thursday, the 4th day of the year of the OX.It eas raining the whole day, some areas were flooded.
However, none was absent. We had Chon Jin and Gek Kiang from Australia. Ai Lang from Singapore, and Azman from KL. Ah Nyuk and wife came from Serian.
Azman is a Datuk, this title was awarded to his hard work and performance by the Government.On the spot, we had many GrandPa who are also "Datuk" granted by their own hard work too.
Mr. Chew was the only teacher who was able to join us. Mr. sammy Kong and Mr. Sagunam were not available due to other commiments.
Some of us were not able to attend too.If we check the list, we can spot them.
Mei Lee had entrusted me to collect the $$$ before the dinner - no $ no eat !
Then we started.....
Yum yum yum, eat and talk and joke and laugh .....
After the food, continue to make up lost time.....
Mei Lee showed her album collection of the old photos , all in black and white , but bring back lots of memory.
Meanwhile, Chon Jin reminded me to take down the contacts of those who were left out.
And Azman brought in a Borneo Post reporter to highlight our gathering after 40 years.The reporter interviewed some of us.
We then took a Group Photo.Did U noticed some one was missing ?
The reporter published our "night to remember" on the 31 Jan 2009.
The guy missing in the first group photo was Ah Kueh. So I put up another photo with him inside.
